| | | 16) | Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, |
17) | Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. |
| 4) | Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, |
5) | For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; |
6) | Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: |
| 19) | If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. |
20) | But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. |
21) | For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. |
22) | For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. |
| 2) | A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence. |
| 5) | For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. |
6) | By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. |
