The church is called Life Restoration as we believe everyone has something in their life that they need restored through the love of God. Life Restoration Church is an international multilingual church with more than ten languages spoken among its members. The church has a small number of full-time staff-but an army of volunteers. We also have a powerful women and girls ministry called Tukiriza which means We Believe. We are preparing to launch our School of Ministry in September 2016 where we will offer quality leadership and biblical training to Africans who wish to move into their calling as Kingdom changers, whether that be as pastors, missionaries or lay persons. LRC would be considered Pentecostal or Charismatic by some, in that there is considerable evidence of the Signs, Miracles and Wonders that show the life changing supernatural power of God at work. Pastor Lisa describes the church as a contemporary apostolic Christian movement that reaches out to the hurt and broken to bring life and healing to their wounds. We are non-denominational, and hold to traditional evangelical Christian values, but express church life in a modern contemporary way. You will find lively worship and very relevant Bible teaching program for all ages. LRC is a loving family and community in the heart of Nakivale Refugee Camp where we have members from the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and South Sudan. We believe in the Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That Jesus is the true Son of God who came to this earth to set us free from sin and its dominion over us. The Holy Spirit is the comforter that Jesus, Himself said He would send after His death and resurrection. We believe in baptism by full immersion, speaking in tongues and that healings and miracles are just as much for today as they were when Jesus performed them.
