| | About Minister Byard | Click to enlarge | | John Byard is a Christian author, leader, speaker, and the founder of Courageous Family—a Christ-centered movement dedicated to restoring God’s design for men, marriages, and families. Forged through real-life struggle, redemption, and spiritual growth, John leads with authenticity, biblical conviction, and a deep belief that true strength is found in surrender to Jesus Christ.
As both an author and leader, John speaks and writes with clarity, courage, and compassion—addressing faith, identity, leadership, and the real challenges families face in today’s culture. His leadership is rooted not in position, but in service, accountability, and obedience to God’s Word. He challenges individuals and families to move from isolation to community, from passivity to responsibility, and from survival to purposeful, faith-filled living.
At the heart of John’s calling is a clear and uncompromising mission: to put God back at the center of the family and raise up courageous leaders for the next generation. Through teaching, writing, discipleship, and mentorship, he calls men to lead with humility, marriages to stand firm in covenant, and women to walk confidently in grace and God-given identity.
Courageous Family serves as the umbrella ministry under which three distinct yet unified expressions operate—each addressing a vital part of the home while sharing one foundation in Christ. |
