| About the Church | | House of Prayer and Empowerment is an outreach ministry that works in the community to tackle social care issues. Its founder Christe Joseph has over 35 years experience working in social care and managing social projects. He has a track record in managing and supervising projects in the statutory, private and voluntary sector.
Part of his ministry has included running a night shelter and soup kitchen for up to 60 homeless people in need; pastoral care and mentoring for young people who are experiencing various difficulties such as, drug and substance misuse, broken homes and abuse in various forms.
The aim of the ministry is to recruit and equipt pastoral counsellors to expand the outreach of the mission in the communities, demonstrating the love of God and bringing relief and deliverance to those in need. |
