| About the Church | | The Free Christian Church of Australia was founded on 19th May 2017 by Bishop Ian Bridge.
The Church incorporates The Free Christian Ministry of Australia which was founded by Bishop Ian in 1985. The Free Christian Church Of Australia Church was formally registered on 19th May 2017.
The Church is an internet based Christian outreach and support ministry based on the absolute truth and authority of God's Holy Word found in the Holy Bible.
The ministry of the Church is modelled on the traditional Reformation pattern of preaching the Word of God, Prayer, and the Ministering of the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
A unique feature of the Free Christian Church is that no money is solicited or collected. Bishop Ian meets all costs of ministry and Church costs such as telephone, internet fees, and legal costs. Jesus declared in the eighth chapter of John's Gospel "you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you Free". What has been freely given to Bishop Ian is freely given to others.
There are many fine organizations that can receive and disperse donated aid.
A Website is a powerful tool for the preaching of God's Word leading to the Salvation of people burdened down and enslaved by Satan through sin.

| | About Bishop Bridge |  | | Bishop Ian studied at Moore Theological College Sydney in the early 1970's and ministered in the Anglican Church until he resigned in 1985. At that time he founded the Free Christian Ministry Of Australia as an independent Christian Outreach and Bible Education Ministry, and has ministered through this organisation since 1985. Ian was ordained Bishop in 2016 and founded the Free Christian Church Of Australia (incorporating The Free Christian Ministry Of Australia). Both bodies were formally registered on 19th May 2017. Bishop Ian regards the Holy Bible as God's absolute, infallible and Final Word to the world, in which the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as the Eternal Son of God, and the Saviour of those called by Holy Spirit, to adoption as God's Children, through His Mighty Work of Redemption on the Cross. Bishop Ian believes that it is the Church's duty is to preach nothing but "Jesus Christ and Him Crucified" as the Apostle Paul declared in 1 Corinthians 2:2. |
