| | | 1) | A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. |
2) | He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. |
3) | He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. |
4) | Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. |
5) | Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. |
6) | Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. |

|
| 6) | Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. |
8) | He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. |
9) | Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. |
10) | In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. |
11) | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
12) | Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. |
13) | Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. |
14) | We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. |
15) | Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. |
16) | Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. |
17) | But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? |
18) | My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. |
19) | And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. |
20) | For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. |
21) | Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. |

| 3) | And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: |
4) | And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. |
5) | And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. |

| 3) | The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. |
33) | But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. |
34) | And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. |

| 25) | And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? |
26) | He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? |
27) | And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. |
28) | And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. |
