| | | | 3) | Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; |
| 4) | Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; |
| 5) | Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. |
| 6) | The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. |
| 7) | He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. |
| 8) | The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. |
| 9) | He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. |
| 10) | He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. |
| 11) | For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. |
| 12) | As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. |
| 13) | Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. |
| 14) | For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. |
| 15) | As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. |
| 16) | For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. |
| 17) | But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; |
| 18) | To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
| 19) | The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. |
| 20) | Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. |
| 21) | Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. |

| | 10) | But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. |
| 11) | For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. |
| 12) | So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. |
| 13) | Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. |

| | 31) | And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. |
| 32) | For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. |
| 33) | And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. |
| 34) | And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. |
| 35) | But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. |
| 36) | Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. |
| 37) | Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: |
| 38) | Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. |

| | 38) | Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: |
| 39) | But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. |
| 40) | And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. |
| 41) | And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. |
| 42) | Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. |
| 43) | Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. |
| 44) | But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; |
| 45) | That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. |
| 46) | For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? |
| 47) | And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? |
| 48) | Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. |

| | 3) | That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. |
| 5) | This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. |
| 6) | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: |
| 7) | But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. |
| 8) | If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. |
| 9) | If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
| 10) | If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. |
