| | | 3) | And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, |
4) | They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. |
5) | Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? |
6) | This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. |
7) | So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. |
8) | And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. |
9) | And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. |
10) | When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? |
11) | She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. |

| 3) | Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. |
| 16) | Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; |
17) | Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. |
18) | Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. |

| 3) | The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. |
33) | But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. |
34) | And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. |
| 6) | Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: |
7) | Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. |
