| | | 1) | Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. |
2) | Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. |
3) | But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. |
4) | For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. |
5) | Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. |
| 31) | For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. |
32) | But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. |
| 17) | And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: |
| 17) | Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. |
18) | There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. |
| 33) | Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. |
34) | O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. |
35) | A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. |
36) | But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. |
37) | For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. |
