| | | 14) | For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. |
| 9) | The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? |
10) | I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. |
| 24) | Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. |
25) | For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. |
26) | For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? |
27) | For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. |
| 10) | For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. |
11) | And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: |
| 1) | Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. |
2) | But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. |
3) | And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? |
4) | Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? |
5) | But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; |
6) | Who will render to every man according to his deeds: |
7) | To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: |
8) | But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, |
9) | Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; |
10) | But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: |
11) | For there is no respect of persons with God. |
