Luke 21:27-31,34-36
27)And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28)And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29)And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30)When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31)So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
34)And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35)For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36)Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Romans 13:13-14
13)Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14)But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

1 Peter 4:1-5
1)Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2)That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3)For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4)Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5)Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Ephesians 5:3-9,11-14,18-19
3)But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4)Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5)For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6)Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7)Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8)For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9)(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
11)And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12)For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13)But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14)Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
18)And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19)Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
