| | | 1) | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
2) | But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |
3) | And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |
4) | The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |
5) | Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. |
6) | For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. |

| 10) | When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; |
11) | Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: |
12) | To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; |
| 20) | He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. |
| 29) | A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. |

| 1) | Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; |
2) | That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. |
3) | For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: |
4) | Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: |
5) | Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. |
