| | | 14) | Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. |
15) | And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. |

| 30) | Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? |
31) | Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? |
32) | (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. |
33) | But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |
34) | Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. |

| 7) | But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. |
8) | Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, |
9) | And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: |
10) | That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; |
11) | If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. |
| 20) | That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. |
| 17) | That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, |
18) | May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; |
19) | And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. |
