| | 1) | Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. |
| 2) | His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. |
| 3) | Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. |
| 4) | Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. |
| 5) | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |
| 6) | Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. |
| 7) | He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. |
| 8) | His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. |
| 9) | He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. |

| | 19) | Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: |
| 20) | For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. |

| | 22) | And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. |
| 23) | The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. |
| 24) | Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? |
| 25) | And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? |
| 26) | If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? |

| | 21) | If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. |
| 22) | Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. |
