| | | 3) | Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; |
4) | Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; |
5) | Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. |
6) | The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. |
7) | He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. |
8) | The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. |
9) | He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. |
10) | He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. |
11) | For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. |
12) | As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. |
13) | Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. |
14) | For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. |
15) | As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. |
16) | For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. |
17) | But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; |
18) | To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
19) | The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. |
20) | Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. |
21) | Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. |
|
|
|
| 2) | By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. |
3) | For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. |
|
|
|
| 31) | When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: |
32) | And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: |
33) | And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. |
34) | Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: |
35) | For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: |
36) | Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. |
37) | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? |
38) | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? |
39) | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? |
40) | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |
41) | Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: |
42) | For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: |
43) | I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. |
44) | Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? |
45) | Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. |
46) | And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. |
|
|
|
| 35) | For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. |
|
|
|
| 1) | Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; |
2) | And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. |
