| | | | 1) | Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. |
| 2) | For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. |
| 3) | For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: |
| 4) | That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; |

| 8) | He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. |

| | 11) | The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. |

| | 1) | Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. |
| 3) | Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. |
| 6) | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |

| 9) | In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. |

| 11) | Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. |
| 12) | No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. |
| 13) | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |
