| | | | 9) | Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. |

| | 13) | For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. |
| 14) | And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. |
| 15) | Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. |

| 3) | Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. |
| 4) | For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: |
| 5) | For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. |

| 5) | Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. |
