Romans 2:1-11
1)Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2)But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3)And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4)Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5)But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6)Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7)To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8)But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9)Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10)But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11)For there is no respect of persons with God.

25)Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26)My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
28)But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

5)And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6)For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7)If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8)But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9)Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10)For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11)Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
