2 Timothy 2:21-22
21)If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
22)Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
This promise is also in: Purpose, Self, Fellowship with God
2 Corinthians 5:1-6
1)For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2)For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3)If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4)For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5)Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6)Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
This promise is also in: Eternal Life, Death, The Holy Spirit, Sickness, Heaven
2 Corinthians 4:8-12,16-18
8)We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9)Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10)Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11)For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12)So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
16)For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17)For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18)While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
This promise is also in: Death, Comfort and Times of Trouble, Strength, Discipline and Correction, Hope, Perseccution, Eternal Life, Sickness
1 Corinthians 3:3
3)For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
This promise is also in: Conflict, Envy & Jealousy
Matthew 10:16-25,28-31,39
16)Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17)But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18)And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19)But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20)For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21)And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22)And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23)But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24)The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25)It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
28)And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29)Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30)But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31)Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
39)He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
