1 John 5:4-5,11-13
4)For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5)Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
11)And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12)He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13)These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Ecclesiastes 2:3-11
3)I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
4)I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
5)I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:
6)I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:
7)I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:
8)I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
9)So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.
10)And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.
11)Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 5:10-19
10)He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
11)When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
12)The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
13)There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.
14)But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.
15)As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
16)And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?
17)All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.
18)Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
19)Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
