40) | And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? |
41) | Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. |

| 27) | Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. |

| 17) | But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. |
18) | For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. |

| 25) | And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. |
26) | But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. |
27) | For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. |

| 19) | For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. |
20) | For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, |
21) | Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. |
