| | | | 17) | And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. |
| 30) | Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. |
| 31) | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| 32) | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |

| 37) | Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. |
| 38) | For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, |
| 39) | Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |

| | 1) | Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. |
| 2) | Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. |
| 3) | But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. |
| 4) | For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. |
| 5) | Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. |

| | 7) | And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. |
| 8) | For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. |
| 9) | And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. |
| 10) | Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. |

| | 9) | But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: |
| 10) | Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. |

| 10) | That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; |
| 11) | If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. |
