Matthew 9:10-13
10)And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11)And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12)But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13)But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Luke 18:9-14
9)And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10)Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11)The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12)I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13)And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14)I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

John 9:39-41
39)And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40)And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41)Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
Romans 3:27
27)Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
