| | | 26) | He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. |

| 11) | There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. |
12) | There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. |
13) | There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. |
| 15) | And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: |
20) | Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! |
21) | Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! |
| 6) | But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. |
| 1) | Judge not, that ye be not judged. |
2) | For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. |
3) | And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? |
4) | Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? |
5) | Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. |
