| | | 1) | A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. |
2) | Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. |
3) | When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. |
4) | For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. |
5) | I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. |
6) | For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. |
7) | Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. |

|
| 14) | If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. |

| 13) | He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. |

| 3) | That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. |
5) | This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. |
6) | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: |
7) | But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. |
8) | If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. |
9) | If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
10) | If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. |

|
| 18) | The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. |
