| | | 23) | O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. |
24) | Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. |
| 5) | Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. |
6) | In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. |
7) | Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. |
8) | It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. |
| 1) | For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. |
2) | But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. |
| 3) | Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. |
4) | Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. |
5) | Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. |
6) | Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. |
10) | Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. |
11) | Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. |
12) | Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. |
| 35) | And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. |
