| | | | 29) | The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. |
|
|
|
| | 4) | Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. |
| 5) | I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. |
| 6) | If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. |
| 7) | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |
| 8) | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
| 9) | As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. |
| 10) | If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. |
| 11) | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
| 12) | This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. |
| 13) | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
| 14) | Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. |
| 15) | Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. |
| 16) | Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |
|
|
|
| | 12) | For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. |
|
|
|
| | 6) | Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. |
| 8) | He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. |
| 9) | Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. |
| 10) | In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. |
| 11) | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
| 12) | Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. |
| 13) | Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. |
| 14) | We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. |
| 15) | Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. |
| 16) | Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. |
| 17) | But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? |
| 18) | My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. |
| 19) | And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. |
| 20) | For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. |
| 21) | Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. |

| | 23) | And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. |
| 26) | At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: |
