| | | 14) | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |
| 1) | If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. |
2) | Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. |
3) | For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. |
4) | When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. |
| 20) | For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: |
21) | Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. |
| 2) | For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. |
3) | For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. |
| 12) | Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: |
13) | But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. |
14) | If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. |
15) | But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. |
16) | Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. |
