| | | 8) | He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. |
9) | In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. |
10) | Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. |
11) | Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. |
12) | No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. |
13) | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |

| 25) | Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. |
26) | A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. |
27) | And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. |
28) | And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. |
| 28) | And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: |
29) | And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. |
| 11) | I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: |
| 10) | For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. |
11) | If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? |
12) | Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? |
13) | If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? |
