| | | 3) | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, |
| 4) | To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, |
| 5) | Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. |
| 6) | Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: |
| 23) | Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. |

| | 17) | And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; |
| 18) | And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. |
| 19) | And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. |
| 20) | And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. |
| 21) | Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. |
| 22) | Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. |
| 23) | Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. |
| 24) | But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. |
| 25) | Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. |
| 26) | Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. |
| 27) | But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, |
| 28) | Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. |

| | 14) | I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. |
| 17) | For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. |
| 18) | For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. |
| 19) | Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. |

| | 9) | Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, |
| 10) | Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 11) | And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. |
| 12) | All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. |
| 13) | Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. |
| 14) | And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. |
| 15) | Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. |
| 16) | What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. |
| 17) | But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. |
| 18) | Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |

| 12) | Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. |
