| | | 6) | As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: |
7) | Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. |
8) | Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. |
| 22) | But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. |
23) | For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: |
24) | For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. |
25) | But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. |
26) | If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. |
27) | Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. |

| 20) | The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. |
21) | But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. |
22) | All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. |
23) | Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? |
31) | Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? |
32) | For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. |
| 19) | And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: |
20) | That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. |
| 10) | All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. |
