Romans 6:4-18
4)Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5)For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6)Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7)For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8)Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9)Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10)For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11)Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12)Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13)Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14)For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15)What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16)Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17)But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18)Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

James 4:1-8
1)From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2)Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3)Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4)Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5)Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6)But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7)Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8)Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

James 1:13-17
13)Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14)But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15)Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16)Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17)Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Galatians 5:5,16-18,22-25
5)For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
16)This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17)For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18)But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
22)But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23)Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24)And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25)If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

15)He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16)He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
