| | | | 1) | Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. |
| 2) | For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. |
| 3) | For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: |
| 4) | That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; |
| 5) | Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: |
| 6) | That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. |
| 7) | For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. |
| 8) | He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. |

| | 5) | Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: |
| 6) | For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: |
| 7) | In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. |
| 8) | But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. |
| 9) | Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; |
| 10) | And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: |
| 11) | Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. |

| | 9) | Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, |
| 10) | Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 11) | And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. |
| 12) | All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. |
| 13) | Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. |
| 14) | And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. |
| 15) | Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. |
| 16) | What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. |
| 17) | But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. |
| 18) | Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |

| | 4) | Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. |
|
|
|
| | 26) | For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. |
| 27) | Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? |
| 28) | Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? |
| 29) | So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. |
| 30) | Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; |
| 31) | But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. |
| 32) | But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. |
