| | | | 19) | Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. |
| 20) | For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. |

| | 17) | And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; |
| 18) | And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. |
| 19) | And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. |
| 20) | And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. |
| 21) | Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. |
| 22) | Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. |
| 23) | Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. |
| 24) | But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. |
| 25) | Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. |
| 26) | Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. |
| 27) | But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, |
| 28) | Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. |

| | 1) | I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. |
| 2) | Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. |

| | 7) | Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: |
| 8) | For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. |
| 9) | Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? |
| 10) | Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? |
| 11) | If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? |

| | 1) | Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. |
| 3) | Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. |
| 6) | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
