Proverbs 29:10,27
10)The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
27)An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

3)Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4)Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5)Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6)Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
10)Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11)Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12)Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 10:16-25,28-31,39
16)Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17)But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18)And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19)But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20)For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21)And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22)And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23)But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24)The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25)It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
28)And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29)Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30)But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31)Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
39)He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

34)And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35)For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36)For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37)Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

1 Corinthians 4:10-13
10)We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
11)Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
12)And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13)Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
