| 3) | But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; |
| 4) | Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. |
| 5) | For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. |
| 6) | Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. |
| 7) | Be not ye therefore partakers with them. |
| 8) | For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: |
| 9) | (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) |
| 11) | And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. |
| 12) | For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. |
| 13) | But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. |
| 14) | Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. |
| 18) | And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; |
| 19) | Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; |

| | 4) | Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. |
| 5) | Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. |
| 6) | Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. |
| 7) | And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. |
| 8) | Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. |
| 9) | Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. |
| 10) | But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. |
| 11) | Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. |
| 12) | I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. |
| 13) | I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. |

| | 17) | And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; |
| 18) | And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. |
| 19) | And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. |
| 20) | And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. |
| 21) | Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. |
| 22) | Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. |
| 23) | Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. |
| 24) | But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. |
| 25) | Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. |
| 26) | Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. |
| 27) | But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, |
| 28) | Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. |

| | 3) | Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: |
| 4) | But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, |
| 5) | In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; |
| 6) | By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, |
| 7) | By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, |
| 8) | By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; |
| 9) | As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; |
| 10) | As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. |
