| | | 1) | Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. |
2) | Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. |
3) | But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. |
4) | For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. |
5) | Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. |
|
|
|
| 5) | Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: |
6) | Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; |
7) | And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, |
8) | In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: |
9) | Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; |
10) | When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. |
|
|
|
| 39) | And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. |
40) | And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. |
|
|
|
| 3) | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, |
4) | To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, |
5) | Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. |
6) | Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: |
23) | Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. |
|

|
| 1) | And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; |
2) | Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: |
3) | And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. |
4) | And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; |
5) | Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. |
6) | And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. |
7) | And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? |
8) | I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? |
