| | | | 7) | If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: |
| 8) | But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. |

| | 22) | But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. |
| 23) | For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: |
| 24) | For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. |
| 25) | But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. |
| 26) | If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. |
| 27) | Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. |

| | 1) | Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. |
| 2) | Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. |
| 3) | For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. |
| 4) | But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. |
| 5) | For every man shall bear his own burden. |

| | 14) | I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. |
| 17) | For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. |
| 18) | For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. |
| 19) | Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. |

| 20) | Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. |
| 21) | Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. |
