| About the Church | | Solutions Bible Church is just a new development due to the public outcry for such a gathering.. having established a few mini charity arrangements for the orphans, elderly and needy in my area- a number started the outcry for me to establish a place where they will be fed spiritually this time. I have served as a church pastor for a church that i played a huge part in establishing but i feel the time for me to grow even further has come.. My wish is not just to run a church on Sundays but rather establish a family that will care for each other beyond Sundays... We ought to embark on various missions like the fight against drugs - crime - child rape which is very common here - teenage pregnancies and various other elements and for us to do this successfully we need to draw closer to our people and have a solid relationship with them. Although i help the needy, deliver motivational talks on various community radio stations, seek donations for those who wish to study and visit various areas for youth seminars but the truth of the matter is that doing it from my own pocket has been a challenge simple because i also am a product of poverty- i take the next to nothing that i have and share it with those who are at a worse that me. We currently gather at my mother's house for services, have not yet registered the church with the authorities due to financial restrictions but faithful that we will soon be blessed with the much needed funds to secure a proper place to worship freely, be able to accommodate more people, care for the needy in our community. |
