About the Church
The purpose of the church of divine metaphysics is to assist its members in the development of higher consciousness. It does not attempt to teach the truth of spiritual things in a dogmatic way but it does attempt to help people to attain a place where degree by degree, they are able to understand the spiritual law for themselves in their own way, commensurate with their state or plane of soul unfoldment. The church of Divine Metaphysics of Canada is based on the science of Divine Metaphysics that is a Philosophy and Religion which accepts the existence of an infinite intelligence. It practices and teaches the spiritual truths recorded in the Holy Bible and other Sacred Scriptures, and as revealed in the life and teaching of Jesus the Christ and other Holy Avatars of God. The Metaphysical Church does not accept the Bible as the infallible word of God, but as an inspired collection of stories based on the spiritual laws of the Universe seeking to help man unfold his own divinity. The Church of Divine Metaphysics Believes First- That God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, transcending personality. In other words, God is intelligence, Power, Life, Love, Wisdom and everywhere present, and is infinitely more than person, yet has the capability of manifesting as a person. Second-That all men are divine and that Jesus, as our elder brother, represented the apex of the unfoldment of the consciousness of Divinity, and that the Divinity of Jesus depends upon the fact that his soul and spirit came from God. Third- That truth and reality are never contrary to science and reason. That only teachings, and doctrines, that coincide with science and reason are true. The Church of Divine Metaphysics is therefore in accord with scientific discovery, and science. Fourth-that man can bring heaven on Earth by teaching the rising generation, from the cradle up, that man is the son of God, and that he who sins against man, sin against God. That he who blesses man, blesses God. This is in accordance with the words of Jesus: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the lease of these, ye have done it unto me". Seventh That instantaneous and gradual healing are not miracles but the product of definite, unfailing laws which are as exact as the laws of electricity or mathematics. Jesus implied healing as possible among al his students through al time, when he said: "The works that I do, shar you I also, and greater works that these shall you do". When man knows these laws as Jesus knew them, he can duplicate the works of Jesus. Healing does not come with-out but within man. Eight. That God created man be to successful, glorious and magnificent as his son. That man can have all that he needs, when he harmoniously cooperates with Cosmic law. Ninth- That man cannot cure evil by studying and punishing evil. That man can establish Good on Earth, and among his fellowmen, by studying, rewarding and exalting Goodness. Tenth- That criminals are mentally and morally sick, and need healing, psychologically and metaphysically. Eleventh- We believe that the Church is an institution for service to humanity, in every way that humanity needs service. Minister program for ordination preparation at
